Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer in executing daily construction tasks to support project progress
- Supervise sub-contractors and in-house workers to ensure work aligns with project requirements
- Collaborate with site operations staff to maintain project schedule adherence
- Verify installations follow construction drawings accurately to meet design specifications
- Deploy manpower efficiently to ensure timely delivery of materials on site
- Monitor work progress and quality to maintain acceptable workmanship standards
- Attend daily site coordination meetings with sub-contractors to communicate updates and resolve issues
- Lead daily toolbox meetings to provide clear instructions and safety briefings
- Ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work throughout construction phases
- Identify defects post-completion, coordinate rectification, and manage handover processes
Required competencies and certifications
- Professional Certificate/NiTEC in a relevant field or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in roofing or construction-related work
- Proficient technical knowledge of current construction technologies
- Strong understanding of general construction methods and structural working drawings
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Class 3 driving license
