Stand in as 2nd in-charge and manage daily site operations.
Plan and coordinate daily site activities effectively
Manage manpower, machinery and material efficiently
Check, supervise and inspect (as appropriate) all civil, structural, architectural and external works performed by subcontractors on site to ensure that quality works are produced.
Co-ordinate and sequence subcontractors work according to the master and detailed construction schedules.
Monitor progress against schedule and take corrective actions
Ensure site safety rules and safe work procedures
Take ownership of site performance and outcomes
Job Requirements:
At least 5years of relevant construction site experience
Familiar with construction sequencing and site planning
Familiar with risk assessment, permit to work and incident reporting
Proven experience supervising site works and managing daily operations
Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
Exposure to Main Contractor site environment is preferred
Works well under pressure and tight deadlines
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
Decisive, proactive, solution-oriented and able to work independently with minimum supervision
