Job Summary
Support project management by coordinating technical meetings, managing submissions, monitoring site progress, and ensuring quality standards in building construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist the project manager in coordinating on-site and off-site meetings to resolve technical issues effectively
- Submit architectural samples, shop drawings, and related documents to consultants or authorities to ensure compliance
- Coordinate and monitor site work progress through periodic inspections and project meetings
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate project execution
- Develop procedures, detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications to support project requirements
- Plan monthly work schedules and set productivity targets to meet project timelines
- Conduct Material Take Off (MTO) and manage List of Materials (LOM) to track project progress and resource usage
- Verify technical specifications for adequacy to ensure compliance with project standards
- Identify product quality issues, document them, and implement corrective solutions to maintain quality standards
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings accurately
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience
- Understanding of ISO 9001 clauses and audit procedures is an added advantage
