Job Description

a leading construction company in the East Region Singapore, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our dynamic Team in Singapore. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for assisting Project Manager and manage day-to-day site activities. You will be the vital link between the site team, management, designers, In-House workforces, vendors and subcontractors, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position based in Singapore.

What you'll be doing

  • Site Operations
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing daily site operations
  • Monitor site progress to ensure works remain on schedule and align with the approved master program
  • Provide on-site engineering solutions to resolve unforeseen technical challenges
  • Coordinate and manage In-house work forces, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted workflow.
  • Proactively manage and mitigate issues with neighboring properties
  • Compliance, Health & Safety
  • Enforce company safety policies and ensure all site activities strictly comply with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and WSH regulations.
  • Daily/Weekly update on WSH safety documents on paper and on Novade lite PMS apps.
  • Identify potential safety hazards or structural risks and implement immediate corrective actions.
  • Ensure all construction works comply with Construction Drawings and local authority regulations
  • Prepare and update essential project documentation, including method statements, site progress reports, and other necessary submissions.
  • Quality Controls
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure strict adherence to project specifications, structural integrity, and quality standards.
  • Support testing and commissioning activities and coordinate final inspections for TOP and CSC handover processes.
  • Workforce Management
  • To manage and communicate well with in-house workforces & foremen.
  • To ensure and assist in work force allocations and are well planned ahead of scheduled targets and milestones.

What we're looking for

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in the Singapore construction industry, with atrack record in landed residential projects is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in landed housing (GCB, Semi-Detached, Terrace houses) Re-build / Major Re-Construction/ A&A/ Major Renovation projects.
  • Familiarity with Demolition, excavations, basement, structural works, and high-end architectural fit-outs including facade, exterior/interior & landscaping and across necessary MEP works.
  • Understanding of Singapore's Building regulations on landed housing including URA/BCA/NEA/PUB/SP etc.
  • Ability to interpret Construction Drawings including architectural, structural, and M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) drawings and spot discrepancies before they become on-site errors.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage workers, subcontractors, and client expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Software Proficiency : AutoCAD, Microsoft (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project), Familiar with Google Workspace, Familiar with Project Management app
