We are seeking a responsible Site Engineer to oversee daily renovation and construction activities on-site. The candidate will ensure that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to specifications while coordinating with contractors, workers, and project managers.
Supervise and coordinate daily construction or renovation site activities.
Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Monitor site progress and report updates to the Project Manager.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and workers to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure compliance with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
Manage site manpower, materials, and equipment usage.
Resolve site issues, technical problems, and unexpected delays.
Attend site meetings and liaise with consultants, architects, and clients.
Ensure proper housekeeping and safe work practices on site.
Prepare site reports, work schedules, and documentation.
Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in renovation or construction projects in Singapore.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site management.
Familiar with Singapore safety regulations (WSH) and site practices.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
WSQ Supervisory / Safety certifications are an advantage.
With or without experience in interior renovation / commercial fit-out projects.
Possess BCSS (Building Construction Supervisory Safety) certification.
Familiar with AutoCAD or basic construction software.
Good coordination with subcontractors and clients.
