Site Engineer

We are seeking a responsible Site Engineer to oversee daily renovation and construction activities on-site. The candidate will ensure that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to specifications while coordinating with contractors, workers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction or renovation site activities.

• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.

• Monitor site progress and report updates to the Project Manager.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and workers to ensure smooth workflow.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.

• Manage site manpower, materials, and equipment usage.

• Resolve site issues, technical problems, and unexpected delays.

• Attend site meetings and liaise with consultants, architects, and clients.

• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe work practices on site.

• Prepare site reports, work schedules, and documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in renovation or construction projects in Singapore.

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site management.

• Familiar with Singapore safety regulations (WSH) and site practices.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• WSQ Supervisory / Safety certifications are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• With or without experience in interior renovation / commercial fit-out projects.

• Possess BCSS (Building Construction Supervisory Safety) certification.

• Familiar with AutoCAD or basic construction software.

• Good coordination with subcontractors and clients.
