About the role
As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the execution of construction projects across Singapore. Responsible for managing on-site operations and ensuring the successful delivery of projects, this full-time position is pivotal to the company's continued growth and expansion.
What you'll be doing
- Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of construction teams on site
- Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving issues to keep projects on schedule
- Ensuring construction activities adhere to all relevant safety, quality and environmental standards
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to address concerns and facilitate seamless project delivery
- Reviewing and approving technical drawings, permits and other documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and providing progress reports to management
- Providing guidance and support to junior engineers and site personnel
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
- Min 2 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar construction-focused role
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and applicable regulations
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and project management skills
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
