Site Engineer (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities:

• Systems Oversight: Supervise the installation of ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation), fire protection, plumbing, and sanitary systems.

• Testing & Commissioning (T&C): Lead and document all T&C activities to ensure systems meet design specifications and regulatory requirements before handover.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all mechanical works comply with SS 553 (ACMV), SS 575 (Fire Hydrants/Hose Reels), and the Public Utilities Board (PUB) regulations.

• Technical Coordination: Review Combined Services Drawings (CSD) and Structural Electrical Mechanical (SEM) drawings to identify and resolve clashes early.

• Subcontractor Management: Monitor the performance of mechanical subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to the project schedule and safety protocols.

• Material Management: Inspect delivered mechanical equipment and materials to ensure they match approved technical submittals and are free of defects.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Singapore-based mechanical construction or M&E projects.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM/Revit (MEP). Understanding of smart building technologies or Green Mark requirements is a plus.

• Attributes: Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and effective communication skills for coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

• Working Days: 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday).
