Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Receiving Tasks:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Ensure accurate labeling, tagging, and proper storage of received materials.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory received using warehouse management systems.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the supervisor immediately.
- Shipping Tasks:
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct items, quantities, and packaging.
- Generate shipping documents (e.g., delivery notes, invoices).
- Coordinate with Planners and transport providers.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality compliance.
- General Duties:
- Assist in organizing warehouse space for efficient flow and storage.
- Support the warehouse team in inventory counts, audits, and stock rotations.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized warehouse area.
Education & Experience
- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred (1–2 years).
- Familiarity with Oracle is a plus.
Skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in checking shipments.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, inventory systems).
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies or issues.
Working Conditions
- Full-time position in a warehouse environment.
- Physical work including lifting, bending, and standing.
- Must follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
