Ship Operator - Dry Bulk, Singapore

Are you and experienced bulk carrier commercial shipping operator with prior experience in a ship owner/operator background

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a market leading shipping entity and manage the entire gamut of post fixture vessel operations for a fleet of bulk carriers sailing worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the operations team, setting performance standards, KPIs, and development goals

Plan and optimize voyages

Manage day-to-day vessel operations, ensuring timely and efficient voyage execution

Coordinate with chartering, technical, crewing, commercial, and finance teams to support operational objectives

Oversee post-fixture processes such as laytime, demurrage/dispatch, and hire/freight accounts

Ensure all operations comply with international maritime regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards

Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners/operators, brokers, agents, and port authorities

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in dry bulk operations, ideally including iron ore or other dry bulk cargoes

Strong understanding of voyage execution, chartering operations, and post-fixture procedures

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle complex operational demands

Proactive problem-solving skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Shipping, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field
