Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Supervise and coordinate site operations during the shift to meet targets.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to workplace safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine safety checks, risk assessments, and incident reporting.
- Promote a strong safety culture within the team.
Team Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and motivate shift operators and technicians.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching where necessary.
- Conduct shift handovers to ensure continuity of operations.
Quality Assurance
- Oversee product quality control during the shift.
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to resolve non-conformities.
- Ensure proper documentation of production and quality records.
Maintenance Coordination
- Identify equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and upkeep of production areas.
Reporting
- Prepare and submit shift reports on production, downtime, incidents, and manpower utilization.
- Escalate critical issues to management as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in Chemical/Petrochemical
- Keen to work shift (12 hours shift)
