ServiceNow Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer / Administrator with hands‑on experience in configuring, maintaining, and enhancing ServiceNow instances. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing platform configurations, supporting custom application deployments, and enabling effective utilization of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules.

This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise ServiceNow implementations, supporting both platform administration and application development activities on the Now Platform.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration & Maintenance

• Configure, manage, and maintain ServiceNow instances, ensuring system stability, performance, and availability
• Handle instance upgrades, environment configurations, and ongoing platform administration activities
• Perform deployment validation and ensure smooth operationalization of custom applications

ServiceNow Configuration & Customization

• Configure and customize core ServiceNow modules, including:
• ITSM (IT Service Management)
• ITOM (IT Operations Management)
• ITAM (IT Asset Management)
• Customize workflows, forms, business rules, UI policies, and integrations as per business requirements

Application Development

• Develop and deploy custom applications on the ServiceNow (Now) platform
• Support application lifecycle activities, including design, development, testing, and deployment
• Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and aligned with ServiceNow best practices

Deployment & Support

• Perform deployment validation and ensure successful rollout of applications and enhancements
• Troubleshoot platform and application issues, ensuring resolution within defined timelines
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support platform enhancements and business use cases

Required Skills & Experience

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Mandatory
• Minimum 1+ year of hands‑on experience:
• Configuring and maintaining ServiceNow instances
• Supporting deployment validation and operationalization of custom applications
• Strong experience in configuring and customizing:
• ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules
• At least 1 year of application development experience on the ServiceNow platform
• Good understanding of ServiceNow architecture, workflows, and development best practices

Nice to Have

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Exposure to scripting (JavaScript) and ServiceNow platform capabilities
• Experience working in enterprise ServiceNow environments
