Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITOM and IRM modules with a focus on Discovery, Service Mapping. Create target state vision through designs, standards, and patterns.
Build and maintain accurate, automated CMDB population through Discovery and integration with infrastructure, cloud, network, and third-party sources.
Architect, configure, and support MID Servers, event management rules, probes, sensors, and automated workflows.
Ensure CMDB data integrity, normalization, reconciliation, and support ongoing health assessments and audits.
Develop strategy, methods and configuration with regards to ServiceNow integrations with 3rd party applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB modules. Assess technical debt for criticality and scope.
Participate in SCRUM activities to understand team's deliverables and communicate prioritized list of work to be delivered. Collaborate with stakeholders including developers, product owners, technology leadership, business consumers and technical governance.
Participate in process & requirement workshops, providing expertise on best practices & emphasizing streamlined processes & systems.
Analyze the impact of new requirements, establish architectural controls to ensure the correct technical solutions are used when delivering business solutions.
Manage all updates, enhancements, patches, and environment changes with the ServiceNow platform.
Consult with Product Owner on Strategy, Design and Engineering of Platform
Identify and communicate platform capabilities and opportunities for platform roadmaps.
Advise implementation design to ensure alignment with best practice and scalability.
Recommend emerging technology & process enhancements.
Review and approve new standards, patterns, and practices.
Contribute to community forums and communities of practice within the company.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.
5 to 8 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience with a proven record in ITOM, IRM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB project delivery.
5 years experience in the ServiceNow Ecosystem documenting requirements, designing, and building on the ServiceNow platform, with deep practical knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM suite-especially Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.
