Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Service Sales Engineer:
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform project design activities, including selection and sizing of HVAC/ACMV equipment according to customer specifications.
- Review and understand project scope for bidding purposes.
- Conduct site surveys, site measurements, and attend pre-bid walkthroughs where required.
- Participate in tender clarifications, presentations, and interviews as necessary.
- Support project planning by working with managers to develop project budgets, schedules, and timelines.
- Coordinate with sales teams, customer consultants, and management to prepare proposals, tender submissions, clarifications, and related contractual documents.
- Collaborate with sales and customer consultants to prepare quotations and follow up on retrofit service opportunities.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget, on schedule, and aligned with customer requirements and specifications.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality or productivity.
- Source, liaise, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure quotations and meet project requirements.
- Assess supplier quotations, compile cost comparisons, and prepare costing sheets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- Maintain estimating logs and records of unit costs for all projects.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Adhere to company policies, industry standards, and workplace safety regulations.
- Stay updated on new technologies and recommend solutions to improve project development tasks.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in the HVAC/ACMV industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/ACMV systems, components, and mechanical contracting.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and construction documents.
- Familiarity with commercial HVAC/Mechanical contracting practices.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Experience in project management will be an advantage.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 4,800 + VB (4.8 Months)
- Working Location: Boon Lay
- Working Hours: 5 Days Work, Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
