In this position, you will need to:
- Provide technical support to customers including but not limited to, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, training, and calibration for the company's relevant product range
- Prepare service quotes for customers
- Prepare concise and accurate service reports
- Provide positive service experience for our customers
- Manage automation projects
- Perform application works with the company's relevant product range
- Maintain project pipeline, install base, service case tracking and contract usage
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Desired skills / Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- Able to converse fluently with English-speaking associates
- At least 4-5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Having work experience as a senior executive specialising in Engineering - Electronics/Communication or equivalent is an advantage
- Knowledge in SCADA, PLC, C++, JAVA, etc. is an advantage
- Working experience in automation is an advantage
- Working experience in troubleshooting laser-related equipment (e.g., Laser cutting, Laser welding) is preferred
- Ability to work effectively independently and in teams
- Good problem solving, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Willing to travel around Southeast Asia if required
