My client is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver high-quality technical services at customer sites. This role involves preventative maintenance, system verification, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of both new and upgraded systems.
The successful candidate represents the company on-site and is expected to uphold a professional image, deliver reliable solutions, and continuously develop technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, system verification, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Install new equipment and retrofit existing systems at customer sites
- Travel efficiently within and outside the assigned service territory
- Support more complex systems as experience develops
- Adhere to company and customer safety procedures at all times
- Execute service activities in compliance with applicable quality systems and accreditation requirements
- Deliver professional, customer-focused service with a strong problem-solving mindset
- Identify opportunities for additional products, upgrades, or service offerings
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and assets in good working condition
- Participate in technical training and continuous skills development
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline
- 3 - 5 years in a field service, technical support, maintenance, or equipment repair role
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and control-related issues
- Experience interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation
- Familiarity with quality systems and regulated service environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
