Commissioning, troubleshooting, on-site training on freight container handling equipment in ports in Asia, Australia, the Middle East and Africa, when required.
Remote support to customers and service agents for technical issues and warranty claims.
Provide feedback to designers and factory personnel on any issues found on site.
Proposals for new features and enhancements on equipment in service & assist sales teams with compiling quotes.
The position is based in Singapore.
Requirements :
A recognized Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent with 5 to 8 years experience with container handling cranes or similar heavy engineering equipment.
Good knowledge and experience in debugging PLC programs, diagnostics and electrical & hydraulic controls & feedback.
Willing and able to travel at short notice.
This is a hands-on customer-facing role, the candidate should be analytical, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Able to represent the Company well and establish good customer relationships.
