Reporting to the WSH Manager, liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to maintain a high level of safety at the sites.
Highlight project safety non-conformities to project manager and assist project manager to implement rectification measures
Work as project Risk Assessment team leader, ensure all site activities have been conduct risk assessment, and effective safe work procedure has been developed
Review safety documents which submitted by sub-contractors or suppliers, ensure adequate safety control measures has been implemented
Conduct weekly site inspection and recommend rectification methods
Conduct weekly safety coordination meeting to settle site safety matters
Conduct toolbox meeting and ensure the permit to work system in place.
Report on health and safety issues to the Project Manager which includes preparing of incident and loss statistics and monthly summary reports.
Perform other adhoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Degree or equivalent in related field.
Registered WSHO with the relevant authorities.
Good knowledge of Safety Regulations and Procedures.
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the main building construction. Expereince with Singapore A1 Contractor for HDBBTO project is preferred.
Good command of English and Chinese in order to liaise with relevant government agencies and subcontractors.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong team and collaborative skills.
Able to work 5.5 days per week at HDBBTO construction site.
