Job Scope:
- Support the Head of Department in planning and overseeing workplace safety and health strategies.
- Support in the development and implementation of the Workplace Safety and Health framework, with emphasis on occupational health and staff protection.
- Plan and manage resources (manpower, budget) to support departmental and hospital goals.
- Liaise with Planning Team on design for safety and work activities within the construction sites and review risk assessment and permit to work
- Monitor and evaluate safety programmes to ensure continuous improvement.
- Assist in in-house WSH training and promotion activities
- Take on other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in Workplace Safety and Health or related fields).
- Valid registration as a Workplace Safety & Health Officer with Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
- Experience in hospital operations or the healthcare sector is preferred.
- Familiarisation with various safety or quality certification programmes such as ISO and safety and health management systems are preferred
