SENIOR TECHNICAL ARCHITECT

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture, design, development, and delivery of mission-critical banking and financial applications.

• Own and manage business-critical platforms, including roadmap planning, governance, lifecycle management, and modernization strategy.

• Provide oversight for L3 production support, ensuring platform stability, resiliency, and rapid incident resolution.

• Architect enterprise-grade solutions leveraging:

  • Java, Spring Boot, Microservices

  • REST APIs, Kafka, RDBMS

• Design and implement real-time and batch-based data transformation pipelines, integrating upstream country processors with global FDC platforms.

• Implement and enhance payment gateway solutions, supporting:

  • SWIFT MT/MX messaging standards

  • APAC Domestic Payment Systems / Rails

• Drive large-scale modernization initiatives, migrating legacy infrastructure to:

  • OpenShift / Kubernetes container platforms

• Manage release cycles, change governance, and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance controls.

• Oversee SIT, UAT, and Production deployments, ensuring quality, operational stability, and smooth cutovers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and business teams across global regions (NAM, EMEA, APAC).

• Ensure compliance with security and quality standards using tools such as:

  • SonarQube, Checkmarx, Snyk, Blackduck, Greater Expectations (GE)

• Mentor and guide engineering teams, promoting Agile best practices, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Expertise

Core Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture

• Expertise in Kafka, REST APIs, Enterprise Integration Patterns

• Strong knowledge of RDBMS and transactional data systems

• Experience deploying applications on OpenShift/Kubernetes

• Proven ability in real-time data processing and transformation pipelines

Domain Expertise

• Deep understanding of Futures, Derivatives & Clearing systems

• Strong exposure to Payments processing ecosystems, including:

  • SWIFT MT/MX messaging

  • APAC domestic payment rails

Governance & Delivery

• Strong experience managing release governance, regulatory compliance, and audit controls

• Expertise across full SDLC delivery including SIT/UAT/Production cutovers

• Ownership mindset for production support with strong operational discipline

Security & Quality

• Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance tooling:

  • SonarQube, Checkmarx, Snyk, Blackduck, GE
