Senior Technical Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, development, and delivery of mission-critical banking and financial services applications.

• Own business-critical platforms, driving application roadmap planning, governance, lifecycle management, and operational stability.

• Provide strategic oversight of L3 production support, ensuring resiliency, rapid incident resolution, and continuous service improvement.

• Architect enterprise-grade solutions leveraging modern technology stacks including:

  • Java, Spring Boot, Microservices

  • REST APIs, Kafka, RDBMS

• Design and implement real-time and batch-based data transformation pipelines, integrating upstream country processors with global FDC clearing platforms.

• Implement and enhance payment gateway solutions supporting:

  • SWIFT MT/MX standards

  • APAC domestic payment systems

• Drive large-scale platform modernization programs, including migration from legacy infrastructure to containerized OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.

• Manage end-to-end release cycles, change governance, and regulatory compliance controls in alignment with enterprise banking standards.

• Oversee SIT, UAT, and Production deployments, ensuring high-quality releases and operational readiness.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams across global regions (NAM, EMEA, APAC) to ensure alignment on delivery priorities and architecture strategy.

• Ensure strict adherence to code quality, security, and compliance standards using industry-leading tools such as:

  • SonarQube, Checkmarx, Snyk, Blackduck, Greater Expectations (GE)

• Mentor and guide engineering teams, promoting Agile best practices, engineering excellence, and scalable delivery models.
