Job Summary
Join ERI as a Senior Tax Officer to lead tax return reviews, prepare transfer pricing documentation, represent clients in tax queries, and advise on corporate tax matters, ensuring compliance and accuracy under Singapore tax laws.
Responsibilities
- Review tax returns for Singapore entities and liaise with stakeholders to ensure accurate tax treatment
- Critically evaluate information disclosed in tax returns to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation and review related party transactions for tax return purposes
- Represent clients in tax queries from the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS)
- Advise clients on corporate tax matters, including transfer pricing and Goods and Services Tax (GST)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Accounting
- Membership in ACCA or CA is advantageous
- At least 4 years of work experience in taxation
- Experience in the financial services industry or accounting firms is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
