Senior System Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily system administration tasks, manage change requests, and deliver advanced first-line support to resolve infrastructure-related issues.

• Maintain and optimize virtualized environments (VMware) while administering directory services such as Active Directory.

• Manage and troubleshoot hybrid environments, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server operating systems.

• Implement ITIL best practices to enhance Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.

• Demonstrate technical leadership by guiding junior team members and taking ownership of complex escalations.

Job Requirements

• Possess Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

• At least 3 years of working experience in system support or a related technical role.

• Technical experience in following areas: VMware vSphere (vCenter, ESXi), High Availability, and Disaster Recovery, Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, and DHCP

• Operating Systems: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server

• Service Management: ITIL Framework (Incident, Change, Problem Management)

• Prior experience in government projects are highly preferred.

• Location at North East of Singapore

This role requires individual to clear CAT 1 due to the nature of the project.
