What will you be doing

Due to the continued growth of the business, we are looking for a proactive Strategic Account Manager to join our highly successful commercial team.

We are looking for a pro-active self-starter who is keen to work in a team environment where there is a strong work/life balance. The key to success in this role will be developing an understanding of the client's business to tailor a data package that supports their commercial decisions and investment strategies.

  • Build and identify growth opportunities within yourterritory from existing customers.
  • Generate named account business by prospecting andby pursuing qualified leads within Strategic clients assigned to you.
  • Coordinate and manage resources internally tomaximize value for your clients and ensure a clear, communicated path torenewal and increased relationship.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existingcustomers to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Become the Trusted advisor to your clients ensuringthey maximize their relationship with Argus, and are open tocommunications about new products, promotions, upcoming events andengaging in our customer feedback mechanisms.
  • Manage all aspects of the administration of youraccounts through excellent understanding and use of Argus CRM system andrelated technology.

What we're looking for in you:

  • Be independent, self-motivated and disciplinedfollowing-through sales cycles.
  • Educated to Degree level or above.
  • Experience in frontline information or B2B salesexperience.
  • Self-motivated, confident and results driven individual.
  • Be a strong and professional communicator, liaisingwith international leaders effectively.
  • Experience in the domestic commodities industry'sprice data subscription sales environment is a bonus.

Travel

  • Cover client meetings, conferences, and events(5-15% of travel in domestic market and Asia).

Hours

  • Monday through Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
  • Earlier or later hours, or weekend hours, may be expected on occasion.
