Senior Specialist / Assistant Manager - Finance

Job Summary

The role is responsible for leading the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, operations, compliance, and system enhancement. The position oversees month-end and year-end closings, statutory reporting under IFRS/SFRS, tax and audit compliance, and day-to-day finance operations such as AP, AR, cash flow, and working capital management.

The incumbent will also drive process and system improvements, particularly in SAP S/4HANA (FICO), ensuring strong internal controls and operational efficiency. As a business partner, the role collaborates closely with FP&A, operations, and management to support strategic decision-making.

Leadership responsibilities include supervising and developing the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement. The role also supports ad-hoc projects such as system rollouts, financing initiatives, and other strategic assignments.

Ideal Candidate:

A qualified finance professional (CA/CPA/ACCA) with 810 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment (pharma/life sciences preferred). Must be hands-on, analytical, and experienced with SAP S/4HANA, tax compliance, and financial operations, with strong communication and leadership skills.
