Job Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer who can design, build, and deliver solutions end to end. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both high-level architecture and deep implementation work, and who is comfortable taking ownership from problem definition through deployment and maintenance. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable, and reliable systems. You should be equally comfortable working independently and collaborating with others, while also helping to mentor and coach more junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver end-to-end software solutions from concept to production
- Translate business and operational requirements into clear technical designs and working code
- Build robust backend and frontend systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- Write clean, well-tested, and production-ready code following strong engineering principles
- Conduct thoughtful code reviews and uphold high standards for code quality
- Improve and maintain engineering best practices, including testing, documentation, and release processes
- Contribute to DevOps and deployment pipelines, including CI/CD, infrastructure, monitoring, and operational support
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to solve real business and product problems. Coach and mentor junior engineers, helping to raise the overall technical capability of the team.
- Collaborate effectively within a team while also being able to take ownership and drive work independently
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior software engineer or in a similar role
- Strong hands-on engineering skills with the ability to architect systems from end to end
- Strong programming fundamentals and a solid understanding of good software engineering practices
- Experience with code reviews and a clear understanding of what high-quality, maintainable code looks like
- Comfortable working with a variety of programming languages and technologies
- Strong proficiency in Python preferred
- Strong experience with React preferred
- Good understanding of software design, testing strategies, performance, security, and maintainability
- Knowledge of agentic coding is a plus, but must having strong software knowledge to review AI's output
- Good working knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and production operations
- Able to work independently, manage ambiguity, and take ownership of outcomes
- Strong team player who can also mentor junior team members
- Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience translating business requirements into practical technical solutions
