Position Overview
The Senior Social Worker / Team Lead at KKFSC plays a pivotal role in leading a team of social work professionals in delivering high-quality, client-centered services. This position combines clinical and administrative leadership, ensuring that both therapeutic and operational aspects of the Centre are aligned with KKCS's mission and strategic goals. The incumbent is responsible for cultivating a collaborative and learning-oriented culture, supporting professional development, and ensuring ethical and evidence-based practices are upheld.
In addition to managing complex cases and providing clinical supervision, the Senior Social Worker / Team Lead contributes to strategic planning, service improvement, and inter-agency collaboration. This role demands a strong grounding in social work practice, leadership capabilities, and the ability to integrate clinical and administrative functions to enhance service delivery and community impact.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1.Team and Centre Operations
1.1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the team, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination.
1.2. Collaborate with the Centre Head and other team leads to plan and implement centre-wide activities and work processes.
1.3. Ensure seamless integration of clinical and administrative functions within the team.
1.4. Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with data privacy and reporting requirements.
1.5. Drive service improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
2.Team Management & Performance
2.1. Provide clinical direction and administrative oversight to team members.
2.2. Conduct internal group supervision, learning circles, and team-based clinical training.
2.3. Monitor team performance, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices.
2.4. Support team members in managing crises and complex cases.
2.5. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
3.Casework & Supervision
3.1. Manage a broad range of case types independently, from intake to closure.
3.2. Provide clinical consultation and supervision to team members.
3.3. Ensure team members meet casework KPIs, SSRs, and organizational SOPs.
3.4. Monitor caseloads and documentation timeliness.
4.Intake & Service Coordination
4.1. Coordinate intake responsibilities and ensure efficient documentation and follow-up.
4.2. Cultivate partnerships and networks to optimize resource allocation and service delivery.
4.3. Support team members in addressing intake challenges and streamlining processes.
5.Professional Development
5.1. Plan and oversee the professional and clinical development of team members.
5.2. Provide mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluations.
5.3. Identify emerging clinical issues and trends for reflection and strategic response.
6.Other Duties
6.1. Extend responsibilities to all existing and future affiliated operations of the Centre.
6.2. Undertake other duties assigned by the Centre Head or Group Services Director.
