Senior Site Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Manage daily site activities, implement work programs, and ensure compliance with design specs, codes, and safety standards.
• Team Leadership: Supervise junior engineers, foremen, and site labor, guiding work execution and problem-solving.
• Technical Expertise: Act as the main technical advisor, check drawings, resolve discrepancies, and provide solutions to site challenges.
• Quality & Safety: Oversee quality control (QA/QC) and enforce stringent health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments on progress, submissions, and issues.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare progress reports, method statements, work instructions, and maintain accurate site records.
• Planning & Logistics: Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment manage schedules and resources efficiently.

Key Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Engineering or a related field is standard.
• Experience: minimum 5 years in site engineering or construction management is essential.
• Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, meticulous attention to detail, and project management abilities.
• Certifications: Relevant professional certifications (e.g., in Safety, Quality) enhance prospects.
• Attributes: Ability to work independently, under pressure, and long hours on-site.
• Language: English and Mandarin
• Working days:5.5 days
• Work location: Jurong Island or island-wide construction sites.
