Job Summary
Drive business growth by identifying prospects, conducting market research, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives. Collaborate with teams to expand markets and achieve sales goals while maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify and set up meetings with new prospects using phone, email, and outdoor visits to generate business opportunities
- Conduct online market research to discover new leads and potential markets for growth
- Prepare and deliver persuasive marketing materials to communicate product developments and services effectively
- Negotiate and follow up with potential clients to secure business agreements
- Maintain ongoing engagement with existing customers to foster long-term relationships
- Support the planning and execution of new marketing initiatives to enhance market presence
- Draft and present monthly sales reports to track performance and inform management decisions
- Develop and ensure achievement of sales goals aligned with company targets
- Assist the accountant in securing timely payments from clients to maintain cash flow
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned to support business operations
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and team to identify and evaluate new markets and partnership opportunities
- Undertake in-house and outsourced market research to keep management informed of industry trends
- Coach Sales Engineers to achieve market expansion and business development objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in business or relevant qualifications or a minimum of 5 years working experience in customer servicing industries
- Proficient in English communication to engage effectively with clients and internal teams
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and negotiation skills to drive sales success
- Strong interpersonal skills with a client service mindset to build and maintain relationships
- Positive attitude towards problem-solving to overcome challenges
- Proven drive for results to meet and exceed business targets
- Ability to guide and mentor colleagues to support team development
