We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to provide comprehensive coverage for a portfolio of commodity clients across the RCEP region. The role focuses on trade finance execution, credit facility management, and cross-selling of corporate banking solutions, while ensuring full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Manage and grow a portfolio of commodity and corporate clients across the RCEP region, serving as the primary relationship contact.
Execute end-to-end account management processes, including new account onboarding, account maintenance, periodic reviews, and client due diligence (KYC/CDD, AML screening, risk assessment questionnaires).
Structure, execute, and monitor trade finance transactions, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Oversee timely renewal and maintenance of credit facilities in coordination with credit, risk, and head office teams.
Identify and drive cross-selling opportunities across trade finance, corporate lending, cash management solutions, and treasury products.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Operations, Compliance, Credit, Risk, Head Office) to ensure documentation completeness and adherence to internal guidelines.
Manage clients ongoing enquiries and transactions with prompt, professional responses to maintain high service standards.
Maintain daily trackers, monitor transaction statuses, and follow up on outstanding items to ensure smooth execution.
Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, trade finance, or relationship management.
Strong exposure to trade finance products, preferably within commodities or corporate banking segments.
Skills & Knowledge
Solid understanding of trade finance, corporate banking products, and credit processes.
Strong client management and stakeholder coordination skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Able to work effectively under pressure in a KPI-driven environment.
