Senior Regional Sales Manager - Iron Ore & Ferroalloys (Global Commodities Trading)
We are partnering with a leading global commodities trading organisation with a strong international footprint across iron ore, manganese ore, chrome ore, ferroalloys, and coal-related products.
They are seeking a Senior Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of both commercial strategy and end-to-end trading execution across key global markets including North America, Europe, India, and Asia.
This is a senior, high-impact role combining strategic sales leadership with hands-on deal execution in a fast-paced global trading environment.
You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, contract execution, and long-term customer partnerships across the metals and bulk commodities value chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute regional and global sales strategy for iron ore, manganese ore, chrome ore, ferroalloys, and related bulk commodities
- Drive pricing strategy, annual business planning, and commercial target achievement
- Lead contract negotiations, tenders, and structuring of complex international trade deals
- Manage credit exposure, payment terms, and overall commercial risk
- Oversee end-to-end trade execution including logistics coordination and shipment delivery
- Work closely with operations, logistics, finance, and risk teams to ensure smooth trade flow and execution
- Conduct market intelligence, competitor tracking, and supply-demand analysis to support trading decisions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global customers, producers, and trading partners
- Provide leadership and guidance to commercial and execution teams to drive performance and accountability
Requirements
- Strong experience in iron ore, manganese, chrome, ferroalloys, or bulk commodities trading (highly preferred)
- Proven track record in global sales, contract negotiation, and trade execution
- Deep understanding of international commodities markets, trading flows, and pricing dynamics
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to balance strategy and hands-on execution
- Experience managing cross-border customers and complex trade logistics
- Leadership experience in a trading, marketing, or commercial environment is highly advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management skills across multicultural and global teams
