Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support our project teams across fit-out and MEP works, collaborating wth Project Managers, Business Development and Directors.

Responsibilities:

Tender & Procurement

* Preparation of price breakdown/Bills of Quantities, Schedule of Rates and tender documents

* Source quotations and compile tender submissions

* Assess risks and Cashflow projections

* Have good knowledge of market price awareness for Fit-Out and MEP works

Contract & Procurement Administration

* Update Risk Assessment and Cashflow assessments

* Preparation of Costing Sheet, Requisition and Approval form for suppliers and subcontractors (CAPEX & OPEX)

* Timely submission of monthly progress claims to Client/Main Contractor

* Certify Subcontractors payments

* Tracking of variation costs (CAPEX & OPEX)

Requirements:-

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in Fit-Out and MEP within construction industry
• Strong technical knowledge of construction MEP and Fitout works. To be able to read and interpret drawings Comfortable in fast-paced environments
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Excellent communication, negotiation skills and problem-solving skills preferred. To be able to build effective working relationships with internal teams and external vendors
• Problem-solving - strong aptitude for problem solving that arise during construction projects
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments
