Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management, contract administration, and project estimation activities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective cost control and supporting the successful delivery of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates, budget forecasts, and tender submissions
Manage pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties
Evaluate and review project specifications, drawings, and bills of quantities (BQ)
Conduct cost analysis, measure quantities, and prepare cost breakdowns
Handle progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts
Review subcontractor quotations and manage procurement processes
Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow to ensure cost efficiency
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams
Ensure compliance with contract terms, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Provide guidance to junior QS staff and support project cost planning activities
Participate in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of relevant QS experience (preferably in Singapore construction industry)
Strong knowledge of BCA regulations, contract administration, and construction methodologies
Proficient in quantity-taking software and MS Office applications
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail with a proactive and responsible work attitude
