Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is an established A1 main contractor in Singapore with experience delivering major building and infrastructure projects. Due to continued project growth, they are expanding their commercial team and seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to support tendering and project commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre- and post-contract quantity surveying and commercial activities.
• Prepare tender documents, Bills of Quantities, cost estimates and tender evaluations.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, tender negotiations and contract administration.
• Handle progress claims, variation orders, payments, final accounts and contractual claims.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial performance.
• Assess EOT and loss & expense claims, and identify potential contractual risks.
• Prepare cost reports and commercial updates for management.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on contractual matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in building, civil or infrastructure construction.
• Good knowledge of tendering, cost control, contract administration and subcontract management.
• Experience handling variations, progress claims, final accounts and contractual claims.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction contracts and commercial practices.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

• Location: Depending on project (HQ / South / North)
• Working hours: 5 Days
• Salary: up to S$7,000 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
