Job Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of pre- and post-contract management and duties.
- Manage procurement processes through outsourcing, analyse tender submissions, and recommend preferred bidders to management.
- Conduct contract reviews and negotiate terms both upstream and downstream.
- Represent the company professionally to clients on all contractual matters, including insurance, EOT, variations, and claims account submissions, ensuring mutually satisfactory outcomes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of local and international standard forms of contracts.
- Work autonomously and be skilled in both contract management and quantity surveying, with the ability to communicate information fluently and concisely.
- Manage and lead a team of Quantity Surveyors (QS) on tendering matters, including:
Attending tender showrounds/tender briefings with clients and consultants.
Attending tender interviews with clients and consultants.
Requirements
- Minimum diploma / degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Engineering.
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in a contract management/quantity surveying role within the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of MEP system will be an advantage.
