Background
Our client is the Singapore company of a leading global MNC in Construction and Real Estate industry. Well-established over decades with solid reputation. Their large variety of projects covers public and private sectors, across building, civil and infrastructure segments. They are looking for Senior Project Managers and Project Managers with strong track record in large-scale Building projects which can Institutional, Commercial, Mixed-Use or Residential segments.
The Position
The Senior Project Manager / Project Manager is responsible for leading the project team to complete projects on time, within budget and meeting quality parameters in line with the standards and expectations of client and relevant authorities.
Responsibilities of these positions are, and not limited to, as follows:
- Provide technical expertise as required on project.
- Managing and positively developing relationships between Company & Client(s).
- Line Management of employees and driving employees productivity and performance.
- Responsible for managing profitability of assigned projects.
- Guidance on team in project works in terms of quality and safety standards.
- Monitor and ensure that site progress is in accordance to Master Programme with no delay in works and proper work sequencing.
- Efficient management of resources and materials.
- Excellent Client-facing skills with strong people orientation, ability to build and develop positive relations with authorities & consultants.
- Possess strong skill in developing and delivering effective communication to different audiences.
- Able to lead and inspire high performance, to ensure project plans are implemented on a timely, efficient and effective basis.
- Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.
Requirements Set 1: Qualifications, Education and Track Record
- Education: Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a PE Board recognized university or degree recognised by the Commissioner for Building Control for Resident Engineer scheme
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in delivering projects within construction maincontractor organizations
- Experience in large-scale Building projects of Contract Sum at least $100M-$200M, having completed at least 1 full project-cycle
- Top-down construction and self-climbing formworks experiences may be advantageous
Requirements Set 2: Technical Competencies
- Technical expertise and proven-knowledge in Civil and Structural construction methodologies
- Administration with established experience and proven ability to deliver projects
- Proven track record of managing teams and delivering projects from site mobilization to Client hand-over
- Extensive experience within a construction environment demonstrating accountability and ability to meet commitments through key internal stakeholders, clients and staff at all levels
- Microsoft office skills and in particular, use of Microsoft Project or other common construction project management softwares
