Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and management of energy-saving and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, work programs, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and seamless execution.
Site Supervision & Quality Control
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Oversee site works and resolve any on-site technical issues or project delays.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including BCA and commercial building codes and regulations.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and relevant authorities to resolve technical issues and maintain alignment with project objectives.
- Provide timely updates to internal teams and management regarding project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Resource & Cost Management
- Manage manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure effective use of resources.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to approved budgets.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, progress claims, quotations, and related documentation.
Contract & Documentation
- Review project contracts to ensure compliance with specifications and obligations.
- Support the resolution of contractual issues or disputes.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports, risk assessments, and method statements for management review.
Requirements
- . Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- . Minimum 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in M&E project engineering, preferably in data centres, commercial facilities, or energy-saving projects.
- . Experience in project management.
- . Proven ability in project planning, execution, and site supervision.
- . Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- . Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project management tools.
- . Ability to work independently and lead teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
