Senior Production Manager

The Production Manager reports to the Production Director. You shall assist the Production Director to process customer orders and materials through the manufacturing process. You will assist to lead the team in a fast-moving production line, where food passing down on conveyor belts, through a variety of stages mixing, cooking and packaging.

The Production Manager is also responsible to live and teach the Company's culture, which includes the continuous improvement process.

. Responsible for the performance and output of the production team

. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

. Manages the Production department to assure the smooth operations of the central kitchen comprises of supervisors and production workers

. Responsible for daily production processes, monitor and prioritise workflow and schedules

. Improves the efficiency, hygiene, work safety and cleanliness in the production

. Ensure product conforms to the Company's standards, policies and practices

. Assist in planning, organising, leading, controlling of production to achieve targeted outputs

. Resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems.

. Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.

. Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions

. Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance guidelines, including AVA standards, Food Safety Standards, HACCP and ISO 22000 standards

. Achieve targets in safety, quality, delivery and productivity with the development and execution of strategies to improve performance.

. Provide and lead a culture and environment of cost reduction and lean/process improvement.

Job Requirements:

. Preferably Diploma in industrial / food science management or equivalent

. 5-10 experience in the Food Processing / Production industry.

. Familiar with regulatory and compliance guidelines, including AVA standards, Food Safety Standards, HACCP and ISO 22000 standards

. Knowledge in handling raw food equipment and machinery will be an added advantage
