Senior Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee the product lifecycle, managing RFQ processes in collaboration with Sales & Marketing and Operations. Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), First Lot Production (FLP), and First Article Inspection (FAI) to ensure customer specifications are met. Manage product-related packaging, raw materials, tooling, jigs, and fixtures for readiness in production. Monitor and enhance product and manufacturing performance through various improvement strategies. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders for product concessions and compliance with internal processes and customer needs. Conduct weekly status reviews with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in key performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optics, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in optics or manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of optical components and their applications. Proficient in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD. Hands-on experience in jig and fixture design, as well as optical testing and measurement. Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles. Excellent critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
