Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to planning of Podiatry services for Tengah General and Community Hospital, including space, design, workflow and manpower considerations.
- Collaborate with clinical, allied health, operational and administrative stakeholders in planning of Podiatry services.
- Assess and manage patients referred for podiatry independently and implement appropriate treatment plans, applying specialised podiatry knowledge and skills
- Coordinate patient care with other physicians. Collaborate in case conferences. Appropriate interdisciplinary referral where required
- Document patient clinical assessment in podiatry records accurately.
- Network strategically with healthcare practitioners in NUHS.
- Comply with clinical and service standards.
- Assist with administrative duties as tasked
Job Requirements:
- Recognised degree in Podiatry
- Postgraduate qualifications in relevant clinical specialty preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience preferred, preferably within a medical institution or hospital.
- Communicate and interrelate effectively in diverse contexts
- Ability to recognise, assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of podiatric conditions.
- Adaptability and ability to multi-task and manage time well
- Effective problem solving, planning and organising skills including awareness of resource management.
