We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee shipping operations, ensuring efficient vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and compliance with maritime regulations. The role focuses on optimizing operational performance, managing teams, and supporting strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day shipping operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo logistics, and port operations.
- Lead and mentor operations teams to drive efficiency and high performance.
- Monitor and improve operational processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with chartering, commercial, and technical teams to optimize vessel utilization.
- Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in shipping operations, preferably in container, dry bulk, or tanker segments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of maritime regulations, port operations, and vessel management.
- Bachelors degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
