Senior Operations Executive

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Operations Executive to support and oversee day-to-day payment operations, client onboarding, and settlement processes. This role is suited for someone with prior experience in payments, banking, fintech, or financial operations, and who is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Execute and monitor daily payment transactions accurately and within required timelines.

Review, investigate, and resolve payment exceptions, discrepancies, and operational issues.

Support end-to-end client onboarding, including KYC/KYB checks, document collection, and follow-up.

Liaise with banks, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing and smooth settlement flows.

Maintain accurate transaction records and operational documentation.

Perform reconciliations and assist in identifying breaks, discrepancies, and process gaps.

Support ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and control.

Assist in preparing reports, internal tracking, and other operational support matters as required.

Ensure operational processes are carried out in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

2-5 years of experience in payments, banking, fintech, financial services, or operations-related roles.

Prior exposure to payment processing, settlements, reconciliation, or client onboarding will be highly advantageous.

Strong attention to detail, accountability, and ability to work with accuracy under tight timelines.

Good communication skills and confidence in coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.

Able to work independently, prioritise effectively, and manage operational issues in a structured manner.

Experience in a regulated financial services or payment environment is a plus.
