Job Description

Summary

. A Bunkering Commercial and Trading Operations Manager role supporting traders deal execution through effective operational and credit risk management for bunker trading transactions.

. Management of a company-level commercial counterparty framework for bunkering clients, including points of contact, KYC reviews, and ongoing credit and exposure monitoring.

. Contribution to business stability and scalability through the evaluation and execution of new businesses and new trading opportunities.

. Execution of sales and purchase operations for low sulphur Marine Gas Oil (MGO) sourced from HD Hyundai Oilbank.

. Review and management of counterparty-specific General Terms and Conditions (GTCs) and commercial terms.


Job Description

1. Revenue and Risk Management Support

. Support the preparation of weekly sales and trading activity reports.

. Report and monitor credit and collection-related issues.

. Review and assess pricing transparency and commercial soundness of sales and purchase transactions by counterparty.

. Prepare and internally share risk mitigation materials in response to heightened market volatility.

2. Credit Management & Approval Coordination

. Continuously monitor and manage customer-specific credit limits and utilisation.

. Support the review of credit terms and risk analysis for new transactions, additional volumes, and changes in deal structures.

. Draft and prepare Credit Proposals and Approval Memos related to transaction-level credit approvals.

. Act as an operational liaison between Headquarters (HQ) and branch CFOs during the credit approval process.

. Operate internal credit approval processes and maintain approval records.

. Manage credit insurance operations, including insurer communications and limit amendments.

. Monitor compliance with credit insurance requirements and maintain related documentation.

. In cases of overdue receivables, limit breaches, or emerging risk indicators, support proactive risk mitigation in collaboration with traders and finance teams.

3. Management of HD Hyundai Oilbank (HDO) Supply Volumes

. Coordinate volume negotiations and commercial terms with counterparties.

. Provide pre-deal reporting on deal structures, volume terms, and pricing benchmarks.

. Manage and communicate changes to volume terms or deal structures.

. Monitor and manage inventory levels and allocation of supply volumes.

. Track volumes in line with loading, transfer, and delivery schedules.

4. Ex-Wharf Trading and Counterparty Operations Management

. Manage Ex-Wharf transactions based on volumes procured from HD Hyundai Oilbank.

. Manage commercial terms with counterparties such as SIRIUS and IMPEX.

. Analyse volume flows, inventory impact, and P/L structures for Ex-Wharf deals.

. Prepare analysis materials on inventory and P/L impact by transaction.

5. Internal Approvals, Deal Structuring, and New Business Support

. Prepare Risk Drafts and Deal Summaries for new or structured transactions.

. Manage internal approval processes and maintain approval histories.

. Track end-to-end transaction processes from approval through execution.

6. Transaction Documentation Management

. Manage company-level continuity of counterparty records and transaction assets.

. Systematically manage contracts, deal sheets, and approval documents.

. Respond to documentation and data requests for audits, HQ reporting, and management.

7. Trader and Business Support Functions

. Provide ad-hoc transaction analysis and operational support to traders.

. Proactively manage operational risks across the transaction lifecycle.

. Propose process improvement initiatives related to Sleeving, Ex-Wharf, and new business activities.

8. New Business Development and Revenue Management

. Review the feasibility, profitability, and risk profile of new transaction structures and new business ideas.

. Design and execute hands-on, operational-level development work to ensure ideas translate into actual deal execution and revenue generation.

. Analyse execution results and provide feedback on scalability and potential for broader application going forward.
