Senior Network Engineer
Location: Singapore
Kerry Consulting is partnering with a leading organisation supporting mission-critical national infrastructure to hire a Senior Network Engineer. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of enterprise network systems in a high-availability environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure across production, test, and disaster recovery environments
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening to ensure optimal performance and compliance
- Monitor network health, capacity, and performance, implementing improvements where required
- Support incident and problem management, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Plan and implement network changes in accordance with established processes
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and regular testing exercises
- Support infrastructure-related projects and system enhancements
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and processes
Key Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or infrastructure support
- Experience working with network technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
- Familiarity with mission-critical or data centre environments will be advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to support shift-based operations where required
