Senior Network Engineer

About the Role

We are partnering with a leading IT services provider supporting large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects in Singapore.

This role focuses on the design, implementation, and support of enterprise network environments across secure and highly regulated systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routing, switching)
• Configure and support network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN)
• Perform system deployment, upgrades, and migration activities
• Monitor network performance and manage incidents, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident reporting
• Handle incident tickets and ensure timely resolution in accordance with SLA/KPI requirements
• Implement network security controls and support compliance requirements
• Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to meet delivery timelines
• Maintain accurate documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and incident reports

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 310+ years of experience in network engineering / infrastructure roles
• Strong knowledge of:
• Routing & switching (Cisco or equivalent)
• TCP/IP, VLAN, OSPF/BGP (preferred)
• Firewalls, VPN, and network security fundamentals
• Hands-on experience in incident management, troubleshooting, and production support environments
• Experience working in SLA-driven / system integrator environments is advantageous
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA / CCNP are preferred

Due to the nature of the projects supported, this role will involve working within regulated environments with specific project access requirements.

Candidates should be comfortable working in structured, compliance-driven settings and may be required to undergo relevant background screening processes in accordance with project needs.
