Develop, negotiate, and close sales and purchase contracts across Asia, MENA, Europe, and the Americas
Execute deals with a strong understanding of incoterms, shipping terms, documentation, and credit structures
Market Intelligence
Track global and regional scrap and base metals trends, including price benchmarks (LME, Fastmarkets, Argus, MySteel), arbitrage opportunities, duty/tariff movements, and logistics bottlenecks
Monitor flows into key destinations such as India, Vietnam, China, Korea, Turkey, and Europe
Sourcing & Relationships
Build a robust supplier network of recyclers, collectors, yards, processors, and smelters
Maintain and grow a customer base of foundries, mills, secondary smelters, traders, and industrial consumers
Risk, P&L, and Reporting
Track and report trading performance, P&L, position risk, and exposure
Coordinate with middle and back office on contract execution, payment terms, shipping schedules, and claims
Collaborate with internal stakeholders on hedging strategies (e.g., LME futures, options, time spreads)
