Your New Company A globally expanding fashion and lifestyle brand with a strong presence across retail stores and e‑commerce platforms is looking to strengthen its merchandising team. The business focuses on trend‑driven collections across multiple categories and operates across key markets in Asia and beyond.
Your New Role As a (Senior) Merchandiser – Women's Category, you will lead the development and execution of merchandising strategies to drive growth across multiple markets and channels. This role requires a strong balance of commercial strategy, product planning, and market insights, with close collaboration across design, planning, supply chain, and retail teams to deliver impactful collections.
Key Responsibilities 1. Collection Planning
- Develop and execute product line strategies across footwear, bags, and accessories within the women's category.
- Build regional assortment plans and identify key seasonal items based on market insights and brand direction.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform product development and improve future collections.

- Merchandise Management
- Collaborate with product development, supply chain, and planning teams to drive best‑seller creation and commercial success.

- Product Management
- Oversee and refine product classification structures to support accurate reporting and business analysis.
- Pricing Strategy
- Develop and recommend pricing strategies aligned with brand positioning, margins, and market competitiveness.
- Identify gaps and opportunities within pricing architecture.
- Seasonal Buying & Execution
- Coordinate timelines and deliverables with cross‑functional teams for seasonal launches.
- Communicate merchandising strategies and key initiatives to internal stakeholders and buying teams.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse sales performance, identify trends and gaps, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Translate insights into actionable strategies to enhance future assortment planning and product mix.
- Cross‑Functional Projects
- Lead or contribute to departmental initiatives to drive product and category performance through collaboration.
Qualifications
- Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail, Business, or a related discipline.

- Minimum 3–6 years of merchandising experience, preferably within fashion or lifestyle retail.
- Experience working across regional markets, particularly in Asia, is advantageous.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into commercial actions.
- High proficiency in Excel; experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
- Strong passion for fashion with a keen sense of trends and consumer behaviour.
