Instore Visual Merchandiser (Fashion Retail)

Job Description:

- Provide visual support to the store, engaging the customers behavior by product placement and creating fashion trends

- Create window and in store displays whilst maximizing store profitability through enticing visual concepts

- Follow a weekly brief & ensure that this is applied to store

- Attract, engage and motivate customer in to making purchase by using the most advanced visual techniques

- Ensure that mannequins, displays and windows are alternated through the seasons and the events of the retail calendar

- Set up and monitor in store promotions by the use of POS

- Ensure that all merchandise is displayed at the correct price and that price amendments are completed promptly

- Analyze Oracle figures to assist you in product placement and floor moves

- Provide training and assist with development for individuals on merchandising and display

- Ensure that weekly development takes place to fill future roles

- Provide feedback to Visual Merchandiser Manager regarding potential future ISMs

- Provide assistance with the induction and training of new joiner

- Regular communication with the Visual Support Manager and Store Manager

- Communicating new ideas and ways to improve the ongoing developments to your Visual Merchandiser Manager

Job Requirements:

- Visual merchandising experience

- Retail management skills would be advantageous

- Excellent time management skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Able to operate Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Compensation:

- Working locations: ION

- Working hours: 5 days per week / 2 shifts (8am - 5.45pm/ 8.30am - 6.15pm)

- Working time varies by store
