Qualifications and Competencies
- Experience in system & sub-system design
- Proficiency in CAD software, technical drawing, and mechanical design
- Experience with thermal and structural analysis, and FEA simulations
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
- Experience in project management and team leadership
- Experience in documentation e.g. Risk Assessment and FMEA
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to guide junior engineers
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field advanced degree is a plus
- Experience in the medical device industry is a plus
- Fresh graduate shall be considered for junior position
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components.
- Creating technical drawings and specifications, conducting simulations and analyses, test and improve of prototype.
- Create/ update of QMS documents.
- Overseeing manufacturing processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations and contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.
- Troubleshoot variance/ issue of mechanical system/ component.
