Our client is a leading provider of offshore and industrial hydraulic solutions. They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to assist their team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in the West area - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop customized mechanical equipment, with a focus on offshore applications.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver projects according to planned schedules.
- Manage individual tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Work closely with Sales, Projects, and Operations teams to support project requirements.
- Ensure all design and processes comply with ISO 9001 quality standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years experience in design of heavy mechanical structures and drive systems
- Proficient in Autocad with the ability to produce detailed Production Engineering drawings
- Proficient with 3D modeling and finite element analysis
- Experienced in mechanical engineering calculations and component selection
- Experienced with ABS/DNV/BV class codes and standards
- Experienced with FMECA documentation and report writing
