Job Description

The Senior Manager, Strategy & Corporate Development (S&CD) will support the development and execution of strategic initiatives to grow and strengthen care services. This role focuses on driving service model innovation and expansion (including partnerships and inorganic opportunities), as well as supporting corporate development initiatives.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor, comfortable working across planning, stakeholder engagement, and implementation.

You will need to:

Strategy

1) Overall strategy

  • Contribute to developing the NTUC Health Model aligned with long-term strategic priorities

2) Private market expansion

  • Identify and develop private / non-subsidised service offerings to diversify revenue streams, including primary care
  • Drive the expansion of Family Medicine Clinic and its related services, including the evaluation and execution of inorganic growth opportunities
  • Construct business case for expansion opportunities and supporting communication of such plans with senior stakeholders

3) Others

  • Set up Business Office within S&CD
  • Lead any other assigned strategic projects

Engagement

  • Effectively set up and work with various search channels for expansion opportunities
  • Adept at engaging department and business unit heads within NTUC Health
  • Represent the organisation in cross-sector engagements where required

Adhoc (Corporate Planning & Governance)

  • Support corporate planning activities, including senior management meetings and retreats
  • Prepare clear, well-structured board papers, presentations, and reports
  • Provide analytical and project management support for ad hoc strategic initiatives

Qualifications

You should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Public Policy, or a related discipline
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in strategy, corporate development, healthcare, or social services
  • Proven track record in strategic planning and execution with ability to quantify business drivers to validate value stream from strategy
  • Experience working within private healthcare or healthcare/social service ecosystems is an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
